We are recruiting on behalf of 2 independent broking groups for seasoned Workers Compensation Claims Specialists who would also like the opportunity to add general claims into their experience.
Role 1 – Managerial capacity – looking after & developing 1 other person. This person would manage smaller, more basic transactional claims while gaining the skills to assist in more complex ones.
You would be involved in complex claims relating to workers compensation risks, you’d gain full authority over the claim and have full access to data on the client. You’d create your own relationships with clients, and work on their behalf to gain favourable settlements.
In addition you would grow your knowledge in GI claims (Property, Liability etc) to have a more 360 capacity to run the entire claims portfolio.
10 years experience required, you must be confident to be in client presentations, and strong in your negotiation processes. $150K

Role 2:
Managing a growing portfolio of claims for a general broker heavily involved in “blue collar” risks, requiring knowledge of workers compensation claims.
You’d work closely with the small broking team, as a unit you’d be working wth the clients, and it would be your responsibility to take on the new claim and gain settlement in favour of the client within a certain timeframe.
It is anticipated that this brokerage will continue to grow, and the need may be for additional claims people, allowing you to develop in to a People Manager while continuing to manage the client claims. $120K
The positions call for great workers compensation claims knowledge. If you have additional general claims experience, that would be good, but not essential, the ability and desire to learn is absolutely fine.
Confidence in dealing with clients at C-Suite level, being part of the management team that present to prospective clients and first class communication skills required.
5-15 years experience.
