We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to join a reputable and successful insurance firm based in Abbotsford, working within their financial lines team.
The successful candidate will be managing a book of accounts, including financial institutions, construction and accountants. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring junior account executives.

We envision the responsibilities of these position to include, but not be limited to:
Acting as the main interface between the client and the organisation to ensure an optimal level of service is always provided
Service and manage a portfolio
Support and facilitate insurance programs
Work closely with new and existing clients to determine their present and future needs
Propose suitable products, services and upgrades to clients in order to maintain and grow revenue
Monitor and manage service delivery across new business quoting, renewals and claims
Manage and coach junior team members
Manage relationships and negotiations with insurer
The successful candidate must be able to manage, develop and maintain long term meaningful working relationships with key clients at all levels.
In addition, the successful candidate will have:
Relevant general insurance experience in broking
Strong experience across financial lines
Completed Tier 1
Exceptional customer service skills
High attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
