Working within a national broker, and working closely with an Award Winning broker, this role will see you both support this senior broker, but also take on a portfolio of your own clients.

These clients are based within the “Australian mining services” sector, including – transport, engineering, labour hire, construction, and plant/equipment hire.
Your role will NOT include basic processing, your skills will be used to be very client focussed, handling new business placements, re marketing and placement of renewals, handling mid term changes, claims, regular client catch ups, and also delegation of work to less experienced team members.
This position requires you to be Tier 1 compliant, to also have the diploma in insurance would be an advantage, but not essential at all.
You must be familiar with general insurance products and local/national insurer markets.
You must enjoy being client focussed and really getting to know and understand your clients business and the insurances that they have and possibly require.
A pro actove approach to your work is essential.
Lastly, fantastic communication skills to ensure your clients, your insurers and your team maintain a slick and cohesive operation.
