Our highly reputable client are looking for a driven and ambitious Assistant Broker with 1-2 years of Insurance Broking experience.
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is eager to work closely with an experienced, knowledgable Account Manager, supporting them with the overall management of a commercial portfolio.
The successful candidate will be working alongside the Account Manager and will be provided with regular training that will allow them to gain the skills to level up within the company and ultimately build a successful, long term career in insurance broking.
Our clients office is based in Osborne Park and this is a full time, office based opportunity.

Assisting with the overall management of a commercial, SME portfolio
Arranging quotations, new business, endorsements and renewals for general insurance policies
General administration related tasks
Liaising with insurers, underwriters and clients
Maintaining a high standard of customer service while interacting with clients
Answering calls and emails, attending to any inquiries
Gain exposure to a wide variety of clients and a wide range of industries
1 – 2 years of general insurance broking experience
Tier 2 qualified, Tier 1 is desirable but not essential
Experience using broking systems, in particular systems such as Insight and Winbeat, is ideal
Experience using Microsoft Suites
Must be career driven and eager to learn, open to taking on new challengers and development opportunities
Must be professional, well presented and well spoken, personable, and confident in their ability to communicate both over the phone and in person
