Key responsibilities

The key focus of this role is assisting the Account Executives and Account Managers with the overall management of a commercial portfolio.

The successful candidate will be provided with extensive training while handling a variety of technical administration and paperwork tasks, ultimately supporting the Account Executives and Account Managers with the overall service of clients.

Some examples of key tasks include;

Supporting Senior Brokers with all aspects of policy maintenance
Obtaining quotes
Processing policies using
Liaising with clients and insurers over phone & email
Preparing quote slips

Key skills and experience

The successful candidate;

  • We are ideally looking for someone with 1-3 years of general insurance experience, broking specific experience would be ideal for the role, but we will consider regardless
  • Must be switched on with high attention to detail
  • Must be well presented and well spoken, great communication skills are key
  • Tier 2 qualification and/ or related university degree is desirable but not essential
  • If you have not get gained any professional exposure to insurance but you have experience within the financial sector, we will also consider
  • Must be outgoing, personable, ambitious and driven with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
