A fantastic opportunity to join a national brand on its opening of it’s Perth office.
You will work closely with the State Manager, as well as forming strong relationships with colleagues nationwide.
You will play a key role in helping the servicing of existing business, but also become an asset in developing the brand name in the market.
Salary for this role is around $80K base plus super.

Hybrid working 3/2 – office hours are 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (Mon, Weds, Fri in office)

This role really has many different parts, making it hugely varied and interesting.
You will primarily be supporting the State Manager in the processing of new & existing insurance risks.
You will ensure a fast & accurate turnaround to brokers.
You will help brokers with product queries.
You will be encouraged to go with the State Manager on broker visits, getting to know key broker clients and developing your own relationships with them.
You will work sometimes without supervision or someone around you, so it’s highly important you are able to think and work for yourself, knowing that help is just a phone call away from other colleagues.
You will learn the primary product to start, but this will grow into you understanding and dealing with all products that the Underwriting Agency have.
1-2 years experience is essential in insurance.
Ideally this experience will either be Underwriting or Claims within the Plant & Machinery or Heavy Motor sectors. However if you have all the right soft skills and are a quick learner, then the company are open to this as there will be extensive product training on offer.
