About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, career-driven Insurance Broker to join a team of talented professionals, to manage a portfolio of SME clients.

This role is a great opportunity for an Account Executive who is eager to move into the next phase of their career and wants to manage their own portfolio, or, an Account Manager who is interested in managing a commercial portfolio and wants to be a part of a great company with a forward-thinking, team orientated culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Manage new business, renewals, and policy adjustments
  • Managing and growing an existing commercial client portfolio
  • Manage risk placements across all lines for SME/mid-market clients
  • Providing assistance to the Director and others Brokers with their clients
  • Building relationships with underwriters and other stakeholders

Key skills and experience

  • Tier 1 qualified
  • 4 or more years of experience in insurance broking
  • Ideally experience with commercial clients (if you only have experience with domestic/ personal lines, that is fine too), no experience managing a portfolio is required but desirable
  • Exceptional client servicing skills
  • A positive, solution focussed attitude
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great attention to detail
